JasonHi, I am Jason Griffiths, the studio owner.
Ever since I was young, I have always had a passion for art; it was both a blessing and a curse. I spent most of my early years skipping school It was not for me.
I was a high school drop out, and I was on my way to nowhere fast. All I wanted was to draw and paint, so I chose art instead of being at school. l carved my own path. Stupidly I hand poked a couple of tattoos on my friends with Indian ink and my mums' sewing needles. I loved it so much I decided I wanted to learn to tattoo the proper way.
I managed to land my self a tattoo apprenticeship where I polished my art while learning the craft from renowned International award winning artist Andy Morris in Wolverhampton. It turned out I made the right choice as my creative work has graced the pages of leading national and international tattoo magazines such as Total Tattoo, Canvas, CCI magazine and Gangsta Ink mag to name a few.
My work has also made it in the local newspapers, and I have worked many big tattoo conventions alongside top artists.
Working with the best artists in the business as helped me take my tattoos to the next level. I was even featured in the tattoo documentary "If tattoos could talk".
Although I enjoy working with magazines and talking about tattoos my heart lies in the studio - where I’m happiest, creating amazing tattoos for my clients. For me, the key to a perfect tattoo is simply down to listening and understanding my clients lifestyle, desires, wants and needs. I can then translate this into a head-turning tattoo.
I’ve gained a significant reputation for portrait and realistic tattoos over the years my speciality though is large scale Japanese tattoos; this is where my passion lies. This is the style I specialise in. I believe a Japanese tattoo is about two people working together to tell a story. Your story, so I involve my client every step of the way.
You should be wearing the tattoo, not the tattoo wearing you.

I am a dedicated and motivated tattoo artist. Working with a profound background in Art & Photography. My clients describe me as very approachable and a fantastic listener. It’s true, and I love to strike up a bond and get to know people – it helps me create the perfect tattoo for my clients.
Due to my extensive photography background, I have a keen eye for detail that ensures I’ll put 110% into any project I’m given. I can turn my hand to most styles; however, my passion is cartoons, especially Disney related. I even love small dainty and elegant tattoos; I think they look fantastic. I also have tattoos featured on the local newspaper's website showcasing the best tattoos in Staffordshire.
My clients are so important to me; I begin every appointment with an in-depth consultation. I want to understand your needs and wishes fully. That way I know, you’ll walk out of the studio feeling your very best after having the best tattoo experience ever.

Ultimate Ink Tattoo is the home of Matthew Kay, a tattoo artist with 8 years of experience specializing in bold traditional tattoos. With crisp outlines and rich colours, Matthew holds true to his motto bold Wil hold, He can also deliver a script and delicate black line tattoos on demand. But more than anything else, getting one of his custom tattoos also means being treated to some laughs. Every client gets to laugh as part of the package!
His mission is to provide unique and creative tattoos through a safe and clean service leaving customers feeling empowered.

ultimate ink tattooWe offer a very private studio where you won't be disturbed by people walking in and staring at you while you are getting your tattoo. Although we are situated in Longton town centre it's a very private friendly and relaxed studio.
We mostly work by appointment as it takes time to design your dream tattoo we always take a small deposit for this and it will be deducted from the price of your tattoo. We are fully health registered and everything is single-use and fully disposable. We cut no corners, we use the top ink brands, the highest grade of tattoo needle and cutting edge tattoo machines.
